Filing of one (1) request for trademark registration. It may be filed with either the local office of the Trademark Registry of the Department of State of Puerto Rico or the United States Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO).
This service includes the filing of one (1) request for trademark registration under one of the international classes, a one (1) hour legal consult and the preparation of a legal probability of confusion analysis that may help identify and anticipate legal challenges that may arise during the request for trademark registration.
The expenses of the request for trademark registration are not included in the price of the services provided by the legal profesional.
The expensenses related to additional complications that may arise during the request for trademark registration are not included in the price. Aditional work and services provided by the legal profesional are also not included in the price. Specially, work and expenses related to substantive trademark law controversies are not included in the price.
These expenses and additional work fees will be payed by the customer as they arise and are billed by the office.
Client has the option to prepay some of the expenses when making the first payment.
Requirements and documents needed:
- A trademark that is currently in use or will be used in the future
- Date when the trademark was first used in commerce (if not used yet, then an intent to use must be informed)
- An ID with photo of the person entering this legal agreement and the owner of the trademark
- If the trademark consists of a Logo or design, then a copy of the logo or design in black and white must be supplied
- If the trademark is already in use, then a specimen of use must be supplied
- Information about the trademark owner
- If the trademark belongs to a corporation or other kind of legal entity, then the information about the legal entity and evidence of authorization to represent this legal entity must be supplied

This kind of proceeding takes about twelve (12) months to be completed. The twelve (12) months mentioned are only an estimate, so it may take the government office a little longer or shorter than that. The client has been informed about this and understands it.
AGREEMENT
Terms and conditions related to this agreement are the ones established on the products site at the moment the client makes the first payment. The first payment by the client will be interpreted as an acceptance to these terms and conditions.

Expenses and fees related to proceedings at the USPTO can be found on the "Code of Federal Regulations" (CFR). It is recomended that the customer reads and familiarizes with the CFR and any other applicable laws that may change or substitute it.
SPANISH VERSION OF THE SITE/AGRREMENTS AS BINDING
If any difference arises between the spanish versions of this website or agreements made with customers and the english translated versions, then the one in spanish will be considered binding.
CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING
Cancellation and rescheduling policiy.
Providing this service is contingent to the inexistance of a conflict that prevents the legal profesional from prividing it.
In the event of extraordinary reasons that prevent the client from attending the scheduled appointment, then the client may contact the office for assistance with cancelling or rescheduling it.
If the cancellation of an appointment is caused by reasons that are not the legal proffesionals fault, then the amount refunded will be deducted a $49.99 fee that will respond to the online scheduling service provided on this site.
